DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Quasar proposes itself on the national and international market of most of the renewable energies: solar, wind and hydroelectric, developing and implementing solutions for each type of plant in order to obtain the maximum energy efficiency.
The widespread presence in the area, combined with the highly qualified profile of our technicians, allow us to operate with the synergies necessary for the management of complex projects. A specialized team is dedicated to researching and analyzing the most suitable sites.

Through a careful evaluation of the technical, administrative and economic elements, we study the overall feasibility of the project.
To conclude the development phase, our technicians also follow the authorization part necessary for the construction of the system.
Our plants stand out for being designed and built in full respect of the environment and perfectly mitigated with the surrounding nature.

RES PLANTS

It is now clear that renewable sources represent the future of our planet: investments and the development of renewables are accelerating especially in emerging markets, mainly driven by the need to diversify production sources and concern for global pollution. The whole world is setting goals to be achieved: the target set by the European Union provides that by 2030 at least 30% of the energy consumed will come from renewable sources.

Solar energy is the main source of renewable energy on the planet. It is the most powerful source of energy and, for this reason, numerous ways have been studied to benefit from it. It has an enormous range of action, it is inexhaustible, it is available for everyone and above all it is 100% clean; does not lead to emissions of CO2 or particulate matter.
This energy source is used for the production of electricity (via photovoltaic panels) and thermal (with thermal panels) by means of solar radiation. In recent years, the technological development of solar thermal and photovoltaic systems has reached important levels.
Our plants are designed and developed for the production of electricity: the main component of the photovoltaic system are the photovoltaic panels, composed of photovoltaic cells capable of transforming solar energy into electricity thanks to the presence of a semiconductor material, namely silicon. Semiconductor materials, once hit by sunlight, have the ability to generate a stream of electric current through the movement of electrons.

Wind energy is one of the oldest energy sources, whose most common example of its use in the nautical field is the use of sailing, which was used for the first time by the Egyptians since 4000 BC.
However, although the energy of the wind has been exploited by man for millennia, only today we are witnessing an unparalleled growth, due to technological improvements.
Wind energy is an energy source that exploits the kinetic capacities connected to wind to convert this source into mechanical energy and, in turn, into electricity: it is therefore kinetic energy, produced by the movement of the wind, precisely, which is the movement of air on the Earth’s surface, between areas of high pressure and areas of low pressure.
For the production of energy through the exploitation of wind power, are installed wind turbines (or wind turbines) that are normally combined in wind farms.
Wind farms are wind farms where towers, that is wind turbines, are very high in height, produce and transform wind energy into electricity. The operation of a wind farm is guaranteed by the presence of a medium voltage connection and a remote monitoring system. The transformation of wind energy into electricity takes place through the action of a transformer placed in a substation.

Building wind farms allows you to produce renewable energy, enjoying the following advantages:

  • Clean energy: wind energy does not pollute and does not produce waste.
  • Easy to find energy: it is easy to produce and can be found in a constant and continuous way, provided the location of the wind farm is adequate and sufficiently ventilated.
  • Long-lasting machinery: geothermal power plants have less durable machinery that cannot be recycled, unlike those for wind farms, which can last about 25 years.
  • Wind has no cost: in addition to being easy to find, the wind has no cost, unlike many other sources of energy.

It is the first source of renewable energy from a chronological point of view in the history of humanity, but not only: hydroelectric energy is also the first in terms of “quantity” since globally, in terms of installed power and production, is significantly higher than any other renewable source.
The water cycle – from evaporation to precipitation – has given the opportunity to create an important source of renewable energy: hydroelectric energy is obtained by exploiting the kinetic and potential energy of water.
Hydroelectric power allows to exploit the waterway of rivers to transform the movement of water into electricity. In Italy, for example, about one fifth of all electricity produced comes from hydroelectric power plants.
Hydropower is a renewable energy source produced by man-made works, namely dams, locks, canals and bridges. Through a hydroelectric basin, capable of collecting water in the dam’s artificial basin, the water is then conveyed at high speed downstream through forced pipelines. The water energy is transformed into electricity through a system of alternators and turbines.
